The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.
- Henry David Thoreau
What is money? Money is a representation of the number of hours you worked to earn it. So money represents a quantity of your life. But the effort you expend is not always represented by money. For example, time you spend doing yard work or housework, or time you spend helping someone else.
So, as Thoreau points out, the price of anything can best be measured in the amount of life you exchange for it, both because that metric includes effort for which money is not exchanged, and because it is a more intuitive and visual measure.
Now, consider whether you are receiving good value for the amount of life you are exchanging.
Adore the Creator,
Not Only His Creations
Be happy in all
He has given you
and smile in adversities
cry in the falling rain,
but never give in to your pain
or struggles which flow deep...
Give this day to HIM
Who never ever leaves you
and gives you inner strength
and blessings to abound
when HE becomes your FIRST Love!!

~ A Prayer Of My Heart ~
Lord I come to You
Let my heart be changed, renewed
Flowing from the grace
That I found in You.
And Lord I've come to know
The weaknesses I see in me
Will be stripped away
By the power of Your love.
Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side.
And as I wait
I'll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love.
Lord unveil my eyes
Let me see You face to face
The knowledge of Your love
As You live in me.
Lord renew my mind
As Your will unfolds in my life
In living every day
In the power of Your love.
